Three things the DMV asks us to tell you before you pay

  1. Completion of this course is one requirement of the Traffic Violator Operator licensing application process. If you are not aware of the other licensing requirements, it is recommended you visit the California DMV website, visit a DMV inspector's office or contact the DMV prior to beginning this course.
  2. This program will require a California driver license of you, the applicant. Your license must be current and valid at the time of this training for the completion certificate to be acceptable as evidence of TVS operator educational training.
  3. The Certificate of Completion that is issued after the successful completion of this course is valid for one year from its issuance.
California driver license number

The DMV requires it on your certificate, and the license must be current and valid. One letter and seven digits, exactly as printed on the card. It stays hidden on screen, so type it twice.

So we can reach you about your account. Texting is optional — you can choose it at the payment step.

That's all we need for now — anything else is collected inside the course, where it's needed.

Before you enroll — worth 20 seconds
  • For a current TVS operator renewing. The 4-hour program is required at every renewal and takes the place of the DMV exam.
  • The DMV does not accept a renewal after the license expires. An expired license takes the 8-hour program, as an original application.
