Technical support — login issues
Click "Forgot your password?" on the login page. If the reset email doesn't arrive—after checking your spam folder—contact our support team.
- After clicking "Forgot password?", we send a reset link to your email address if there's an account associated with it. The message usually arrives within a minute but can take up to 10 minutes depending on your email provider.
- Can't find it? Check your spam, junk, or promotions folders. The subject line is "Reset your Highway Traffic School password." Mark it as "Not Spam" to make sure future messages arrive in your inbox.
- If you have multiple email addresses, repeat the reset process with any address you used during registration.
- Reset links expire after 24 hours and can only be used once. If it's expired or you've clicked it and it no longer works, simply request a new link.
- Still locked out? Contact our support team by phone or email with your full name, email, phone number, and date of birth used during registration. For security reasons, we'll verify your identity and can update your login details immediately.
Technical support — course isn't loading
Refresh the page. If the issue continues, clear your cache or switch to an up-to-date browser like Chrome or Edge, and check your internet connection.
- Close unnecessary tabs, update your browser, and turn off heavy extensions or ad blockers.
- Clear cache and cookies (Settings → Privacy → Clear Browsing Data).
- Enable pop-ups — some quizzes and certificates must open in new windows.
- Corporate or school firewalls might block course assets; try using a personal device or hotspot.
- Try another browser or device (Edge, Firefox, Safari, mobile).
- Still stuck? Take a screenshot of the error, note your device and browser, and contact support so we can switch you to a new session without losing your progress.
Technical support — device compatibility
Compatible with laptops, tablets, and smartphones — best experienced on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari.
- Start on any device and pick up right where you left off on any device; progress syncs automatically.
- Keep your browser fully updated and avoid battery- or data-saving modes that can pause videos and timers.
- Avoid using incognito or private mode in browsers, or your answers and time tracking might not be saved.
- Tilt your device to landscape mode for better reading; the course layout is fully responsive.
- Switch devices during a lesson? Close the course tab on the first device to avoid timer conflicts.
Technical support — progress not saving
Enable cookies and avoid using private or incognito mode; always log out when you’re finished.
- Cookies must be enabled for timers, quizzes, and progress tracking to save properly.
- Avoid private or incognito windows — they delete session data immediately when you close the tab, erasing recent work.
- Finish the page or quiz before closing your browser; exiting midway will reset the timer to the start of that page.
- If your device goes to sleep or your internet connection drops, stop taking the course until you have a stable internet connection again.
- Still losing progress? Clear cache and cookies, restart your device, and sign back in for a fresh session.
How to enroll — eligibility by state
Rules vary by state — AZ requires ID and ticket uploads; TX and FL often need court approval. Check with your court before enrolling.
- Arizona (AZ) — Upload a clear photo of your driver’s license and traffic citation after signing up.
- Florida (FL) — You have 30 days from the citation date to notify the clerk that you’re choosing traffic school; after filing that election, the court will provide a specific deadline for completion.
- Texas (TX) — The court will inform you if you're eligible and provide your due date.
- Deadlines and grace periods — Many courts enforce strict enrollment or completion dates; missing them can cancel your ability to dismiss the ticket.
- Still unsure? Contact your court or DMV, or call our support team — we'll inform you of the specific steps you need to take.
How to enroll — required information
Enter your full name, driver's license number, and citation number so we can report your completion promptly.
- Enter your name exactly as it appears on your driver's license; do not use nicknames or abbreviations.
- Double-check every digit of your license and citation numbers carefully before clicking the submit button at the end of the course.
- We send these details exactly as entered to the DMV or court — any discrepancy can cause rejection.
- No ticket or license nearby? Save your progress and come back later; nothing will be lost. However, your course isn't complete until you provide all the required information needed to submit your completion.
- If you notice an error after submitting, contact support immediately — corrections can take several days to process.
How to enroll — pricing and payment
The cost varies based on the course, court, and state — the total price is shown before checkout. You can pay safely with any major debit or credit card.
- Your total price is calculated in real-time during checkout; you'll see the exact amount before entering your payment details.
- Some states and courts require administrative or reporting fees — these are itemized so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and most debit cards linked to a U.S. bank account; cash or checks aren't accepted.
- All transactions go through a PCI-DSS–compliant gateway with 256-bit SSL encryption; your full card number is never stored.
- A receipt is sent to your email immediately and stays in your student dashboard for download or printing whenever you need it.
How to enroll — starting the course
Begin immediately after sign-up — Arizona students need a quick document check (usually a few minutes) before starting.
In most states, your first lesson becomes available once payment clears, so you can start the course right away.
**Arizona only:**
- We need to verify your driver's license and citation images and check eligibility before the course opens — approvals usually take less than 15 minutes during business hours.
- Look for an email titled "Your account has been approved!" and refresh your course dashboard once you receive it.
- If an upload is blurry or cropped, re-upload clearer photos in the document upload section to prevent delays.
- Still waiting after 15 minutes? Contact support by email or phone — we'll prioritize your review so you can get started immediately.
Updating information — email or name
Contact support with your full name, date of birth, and the information that needs to be updated. A resubmission fee may apply if your certificate has already been filed.
- Email or call us with your legal name, date of birth, and the exact change required (e.g., new email or corrected spelling).
- We will update your student profile and provide a revised completion certificate within one business day.
- If the original certificate has already been sent to the court or DMV, a state re-filing fee — usually $10 to $15 — may apply; we'll confirm before charging.
- To avoid future delays, double-check your personal details on the course profile page.
Updating information — driver's license
Report any driver's license number mistake before finishing the course; post-completion fixes may include a small resubmission fee.
- You can update your license number for free anytime in the course profile section while the course is in progress.
- If you're unsure which digit is incorrect, email us a clear photo of your license, and we'll verify it for free.
- Incorrect license numbers can cause the court to reject your completion record, so contact support immediately if you notice an error after finishing.
- After your completion certificate is issued, we will need to re-issue and re-file it with the court or DMV — most states charge a $10 to $15 processing fee.
- Re-issued certificates are typically processed within one business day, but some courts may take up to 72 hours to acknowledge the correction; plan accordingly if you're near a deadline.
Updating information — birthday
Send us your accurate date of birth before the certificate is issued; post-submission corrections may require a small re-filing fee.
- Review your DOB during sign-up and in your course profile; update it yourself or contact support while the course is still in progress — this is free.
- Corrections made before the certificate is issued are applied immediately and reported to the court/DMV without delay.
- Once the certificate has been filed, we need to re-issue and re-submit it. Most states charge a $10 to $15 correction fee, which we will confirm with you first.
- Re-filed certificates are usually processed within 24–48 hours, but some courts may take longer — plan ahead if you have a deadline for completion.
- To avoid future delays, verify all personal details each time you log in and before starting the final exam.
Updating information — reason for enrollment
Select the appropriate reason for taking the course — ticket dismissal, court-ordered, or voluntary — when signing up so we can send the correct certificate to the right recipient.
- During enrollment, choose ticket dismissal, court-ordered, insurance discount, or the reason that applies to your case. This option determines how your completion certificate is written and delivered.
- Courts and insurers depend on this code to match your record—choosing the wrong option can delay dismissal credit or insurance discounts.
- If you choose the wrong reason, we'll change it free of charge while the course is in progress.
- Once a certificate is filed, changing the reason requires re-issuing and re-filing it; most states charge a $10 to $15 fee, which we'll confirm with you first.
- Not sure which reason to choose? Email or call us with your citation details, and we'll confirm the correct option before you begin.
