The Florida Wireless Communications Device course, also known as Florida WCD, is a state-approved driver safety program designed to educate drivers on safe driving practices while using a wireless communication device such as a cell phone or other electronic device and other common driving distractions. This course may only be taken by a driver who has received a traffic ticket using a wireless communications device in a school or work zone. By completing the Florida WCD, you may be able to avoid paying the fine, having points added to your driving record, preventing your insurance rates from increasing and keeping your driver's license in good standing.
