- Register for Arizona Defensive Driving
Registration is fast and simple. It takes just a few minutes to register for our online defensive driving course. Before you begin our course, ensure that you are eligible to attend traffic school through your court and that you will be able to complete the course at least 7 days before your court date. The Arizona Supreme Court requires that we verify your identity and eligibility before allowing you access to the course. Once you are registered, upload, email, or mail a copy of your government-issued driver’s license or identification card and a copy of the original citation or court document to our office. Once we verify your documents and eligibility to attend defensive driving, we will grant you access to our easy, self-paced course, which consists of five lessons.
Highway Traffic School is licensed and certified by the Arizona Supreme Court to offer this course.
- Take the Highway Traffic School course
The Arizona Defensive Driving course will take approximately four (4) hours to complete. Once you have completed the five lessons, you’ll need to pass a final exam to complete the course. You must score at least 80% on your final exam. Don’t worry though; if necessary, we will give you a second chance to pass the final exam. We only offer our final exam online, so you’ll have to verify your identity by answering a few questions about yourself. We randomly ask these identify verification questions throughout the course and exam.
- Get your Certificate of Completion
When you successfully pass the exam, we will submit your certificate electronically to the Arizona Supreme Court and the court with jurisdiction over your ticket. There is no need to show your certificate of completion to the court. A copy of your certificate of completion will be available for you to download for your personal records free of charge. If you want us to print and mail a copy of your certificate to you, we can provide one to you for a small additional charge. You're finished!
